Audrey Bunny Book Review and Giveaway

The winner is: Susan Laney Borow!

I don't know if I've ever related to a children's book quite like I did Audrey Bunny.

Too often, people feel rejected, unwanted, so far from perfect, and left at the "bottom of the barrel". If you have ever felt this way, you'll love this book and the sentiment it expresses. Through the sweet story and beautiful illustrations, your children will see how God loves them, even when they aren't perfect. He made them, after all, and He doesn't make "mistakes". Your child will have a new understanding of God's unshakable, unchangeable, unconditional love.

Another lesson your children will learn from this story is that everyone has inestimable value. Hopefully, they will see others who are "imperfect" through different eyes...God's eyes.

My daughters and I loved Audrey Bunny, and I'm sure you will, too. Instructions on how to enter are at the end of this post.

  1. My favorite childrens book?!?!? Just one?!?! Boy, thats a toughie!! I loved all the Little House books (I still have my old, ragged, well loved books :) ), the Mandie books, Hardy Boys..... I still have a couple books that my Papa gave me when I was very little that I will always treasure. In one of them was a picture of a baby. All you could see was the back of his tiny head and he had dark hair. I always wanted my babies to look like that ;) And guess what? :) Anyway, didn't mean to ramble.....

  2. Boy, this one is hard! Tim would tell you that I have more children's books than I have sense and he very well may be right! One I love to read to my children is God Gave Us You, but to name a favorite...I don't think I could!

  3. When our son was little (his name is Daniel), I found a book entitled "Daniel's New Friend." He loved that book, and it is still in storage because I just can't part with it, although the cover has been taped back on several times! For myself, we had a set of bedtime story books by Arthur somebody. There were several stories in each book, but my favorite was one about a boy who got a job on a farm because he could "sleep on windy nights." The point of that story was that he took care of securing the barn and the animals, so he didn't have to worry about things blowing away. Your book sounds very good, and I'd love to be entered in the giveaway! :-)

  4. Actually, I remember that those stories were called "Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories." Not sure what his entire name was....
